MURDER AT THE Hunting Lodge:
A Beautiful, yet Beastly, Fundraiser
You’ve read the story and seen the movie, but have you ever wondered where the Beast’s family has gone? Have you ever thought to yourself, “Where is Belle’s mum? Gaston’s mother?” Well, this is one of life’s mysteries that has hitherto been left unexplored.
Gaston, Belle and the young prince had parents and this year the Gleneagle Amateur Theatrical Collective is revealing their sordid past. Come join us for Murder at the Hunting Lodge on Friday, February 12, 2016. The Gleneagle theatre will be transformed into a rustic French hunting lodge filled with love, enchantment, intrigue, betrayal… and cold-blooded murder. Guests will use their wits to deduce who was responsible for the murder.
Gastonia’s Hunting Lodge will be open from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and is only open to adult patrons. Tickets are $30.00 and include a delicious and filling dinner and intriguing but dangerous ‘entertainers’ (played by Gleneagle teachers and administration). Entertainment will also be provided by Musical Theatre students performing exciting musical numbers from “Beauty and the Beast.” All proceeds go to support Gleneagle’s current production.
Tickets must be purchased beforehand and are best purchased early.
So throw on your best hunting attire and get ready for a good time. Please email Rachel Vaessen for more information at rvaessen@sd43.bc.ca and return the form below completed with cash or cheque made out to ‘Gleneagle Secondary School re: Musical Theatre’ by Thursday February 4, 2016.
See you at the Gastonia’s Hunting Lodge on February 12, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
