This list provides all the information and contact details for the clubs/organizations at Gleneagle.

In our continued commitment to the value of extracurricular activities, we offer several sponsored club and organizations that cater to our diverse student population and its need for social responsibility, individual interest, and even just plain fun stuff.

If a student wishes to start a club that is currently not offered, they may approach any Gleneagle teacher and ask them to sponsor the club.

Anime Club
Anime Club watching animes together and do 様々 (various) stuff, The mission is gather all anime fans at  Gleneagle and provide a safe, LGBTQ friendly place to chat.
Art Connections
We provide a safe space to connect students that have an interest in art. Here there are no limitations to your imagination, we create art in many different forms then share our discoveries and creations with the community. Another portion we focus on is Penpals. There is a reason they happen to be timeless as it allows us to make connections through art exchange and cordial communication.
Astronomy Club
The Astronomy club meets Wednesdays at lunch in room 200. We discuss various space related topics. We also have a Teams page where we share out information. On some upcoming cloud free nights, we can do some observing with the school telescope.
Believe Leadership
Teach students leadership skills by providing excellent volunteer opportunities and leadership lessons.
Business Club
Our goal is to help our school’s students further develop their business and entrepreneurship skills, and foster leaders in marketing, finance, and management.
Chinese Culture Club
Chinese Culture Club is dedicated to enriching the after-school lives of our Gleneagle community members and promoting Chinese culture.
Computer Science Club
Our club's goal is to encourage students to gain and/or foster more interest into the ever-growing computer science field by learning, creating, and exploring different elements. We are planning toward a project-based focus and are looking toward a collaborative, supportive environment. All skill levels are welcome to join!
Debate Club
Our goal is to teach students to debate in various formal formats, including but not limited to CNDF, BP and worlds. We will also create and train a team of debaters to represent gleneagle in provincial debate tournoments and competitions.
Design Club
This club is for passionate students designers looking to hone their graphic design skills while giving back to the school community.
E-commerce Club
We design and market as a collective brand whilst learning how to sell ourselves online and grow as a company in the e-commerce scene.
Extended Learning Club
We are aiming to provide tutoring services and support for students who need help with their homework or course material as well as providing tutoring opportunity for students who are interested in gaining volunteer hours. Furthermore, we want to provide a fun and engaging environment to socialize, have fun as well as learning.
Film Crew
To teach students how to create a film production from start to finish and help film events around the school.
Finance and Investing Club
Our goal is to promote financial literacy through educational events, business stock competitions, and empowering opportunities for all youth. We will also cover various stock market indexes as well as investment methods to help students potentially interested in investing invest safely and profitably.
Game Design Club
Our goal is get people interested in coding and game design. We will use C# and Unity to build a variety of different games and features throughout the course of the club. We hope that by the end, people will have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the Unity Engine and have a project to show for it.
Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA)
The purpose of GSA is to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ folks to hang out and be themselves. Get involved in Gleneagle's queer community! You do not have to be out to join, and parental permission is not required. Everyone (LGBTQ+ members and allies alike) is welcome!
Green Team
Our club aims to make positive environmental changes to our community and raise awareness to those around us about what’s currently happening to the planet while having fun! We hope members can learn more about our environment and learn to protect our mother Earth. Everyone is welcome to join!!
International Community Club
The purpose of our club is to share culture with all students at Gleneagle, whether they are a part of the culture or not.
Knot Club
We are dedicated to establish friendship and connection between people with and without physical / intellectual impairments.
K-Pop Dance Club
Our club is a place to come learn and indulge in K-pop choreographies and meet mutuals who have the same interest. We plan to teach choreographies and help everyone find an understanding of their skill and confidence and also have fun with physical activity. Additionally, if there are any events run at the school, we will perform at them to show our passion for this club! Lastly, no experience is needed to join the club!
Magic: The Gathering Club
Welcome all beginning and advanced players of Magic: The Gathering! We play casually and run tournaments from time to time. Come join us on Fridays!
Math Contest Club
Our goal is to facilitate various math contests at Gleneagle and provide opportunities for students to participate in said contests. We will also host practice sessions before contests to improve students' chances and provide resources to students interested in competition math.
Math Help
Helping students with their math homework until they are able to comprehend the subject.
Physics Club
The Physics Club forms each year in January in preparation for spring events (listed below). We meet as needed for events like The UBC Physics Olympics, Tri-City Branch - Virtual Bridge Building Competition, and The Sir Isaac Newton Physics Exam Contest. We also have a Teams page where information is shared out.
Programming Contest Club
The main purpose of the club is to have members learn more about different competitive programming concepts to prepare for coding contests such as the CCC. Another purpose of the club is to have fun solving various algorithmic puzzles. All skill levels are welcome and will have plenty of opportunities to learn and improve their programming skills.
RACC Club
Our goal is to build a sense of community through fundraiser and awareness events for foundations that club members are passionate about (coffee house, dance off, etc.)
Rhythm Game Club
Our club aims to work on improving in various rhythm games such as osu!, chunithm, arcaea and others. We also plan to possibly create our own game and our own arcade cabinet. Beginners are welcome!
Science Club
Our goal is to gain learning opportunities by sharing our knowledge on the science fields. Also, we provide science focused tutoring opportunities to get tutored and/or become a tutor.
Shelter Society
The Shelter Society is a chance to help raise awareness and support for homeless youth. It is also an opportunity to gain volunteer hours and build key leadership skills.
To-Do-It Club
Our goal is to build a platform for students across the school to communicate and possible find a community that they belong.
