CROSS CATCHMENT APPLICATIONS – FEB 6-11 Parents sometimes wish for their children to move or transfer to another school that is not their neighbourhood catchment school. All kindergarten students must be registered at their catchment school first, prior to applying for cross catchment. If your child will be starting Kindergarten in September and has an older sibling who will still be attending the same elementary school in September (even if it's not your neighbourhood catchment school), you can register directly at your sibling's school during Kindergarten Registration. Out of an abundance of caution, Fraser Health has sent school districts in the region a letter about the teenager who has tested presumptively positive for avian influenza. Please see the letter attached for more information. We encourage everyone to practice the preventative measures suggested, including: - Stay up to date on all immunizations, especially the seasonal flu vaccine
