Purchasing
The Purchasing Services department is a support service for departments within School District 43. We provide professional expertise in procurement, risk, and supply chain management. We keep abreast of developments in purchasing and technology and identifies new and innovative approaches that could be implemented in the District.
Purchasing assists in sourcing supplies, equipment, and services to offer SD43 departments with best overall value and is authorized to issue purchase orders.
To ensure effective and cost-efficient acquisition, fair and equal access for all suppliers, we administer our competitive opportunities in accordance with Board's policies, the legal and treaty obligations applicable to public sector procurement.

The District does not maintain an active bidders list. Competitive opportunities at the District will be advertised both on:

If you are not already registered as a BC Bid supplier, we recommend contacting BC Bid to register and receive notification when new opportunities are posted. More information can be found on the BC Bid website: www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.

Documents may be downloaded directly for free from the Board's website at https://sd43.bidsandtenders.ca. Responding to opportunities posted on SD43 website is free but will require a bids&tenders account. Create a supplier account for free and register for the free weekly supplier information session. Transportation Services
School District 43 offers limited transportation services as per Policy 20, Conveyance of Students with Special Needs.
