Hillcrest "Adopts" Paralympic Athlete

A presentation by Matt Hallat, Canadian Paralympic Alpine Skier, launched Hilldrest Middle's Paralympic Week Nov. 2-6.
Students heard about Matt's inspiring journey and his preparations for the Paralympics.
Hillcrest has "adopted" Matt as its 2010 athlete and students and staff are looking forward to cheering him on!

Change of Date for Spring Break 2010 Approved by School Board

After studying the results of an on-line poll, as well as surveys conducted by School District employee groups, the Coquitlam School Board has decided to change the dates for Spring Break 2010 so that it coincides with the Easter long weekend.

Spring Break will begin on Friday, March 26, 2010. There will be no classes on Friday, March 26. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 6, 2010.
