Holly Butterfield was born and raised in Coquitlam and graduated from Port Moody Secondary. She went on to attend SFU taking additional courses from BCIT and the Mutual Funds Institute.  After marrying in 1982, she and her husband bought a home in Coquitlam and had two children. In 1989, the Butterfield’s moved to Anmore.

Holly’s community involvement began at Anmore Elementary and soon expanded into community events and committees. In 1996, Holly was one of two Anmore residents that were honored with the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award. Mrs. Butterfield was first elected to the Board of Trustees in 1996 and has been re-elected for four consecutive terms.

Holly believes strongly in co-operative, collaborative work. She has worked hard to foster mutually supportive relationships within the Board, within the District, with our many partner groups and the public. By working together in a mutually respectful way, Holly believes we can best serve the students of our District and support public education.
