​All classes at Mountain Meadows Elementary were treated to a three-day in-service provided by Juno Award-winning singer and songwriter, Norman Foote.

Mr. Foote met each class twice over the course of three days to teach some of his songs, but also to teach kids about the songwriting process. Students were able to contribute their own ideas to create a collaboratively-written school song which was showcased at a concert the third afternoon in front of the entire school community, including an audience of parents and caregivers.

This experience will go a long way towards supporting the school's year-long focus of "building community."
