​​The SD43 Board of Education has passed a motion to accept the catchment area changes in the Burke Mountain community for the 2022 school year when the new Sheffield St elementary school opens. Adjustments to catchments for Leigh Elementary and Smiling Creek Elementary have been made and a new catchment for the new school on Sheffield St, which is yet to be officially named, has been created.
