​District flags will be half-masted April 9, 2021 until sunset on the day of the funeral or memorial service (to be determined) in recognition of the passing of Prince Phillip, His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh. Flags have been lowered at the Parliament Buildings in Victoria and on all British Columbia government buildings across the province. Flags on all Government of Canada buildings and establishments across the country will also be flown at half-mast.
