​On behalf of School District No. 43 (Coquitlam), I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of our students, parents and employees!

As we approach the holiday season after a busy fall, it is important to reflect on the year that has passed and all of our achievements. We have much to be thankful for in our school district as our students continue to succeed at a high level and our learning communities thrive. The holiday is also a time to look forward with hope and anticipation to 2020. I am confident the new year will bring even more exciting opportunities to our students and school communities.

Through the year and into the Christmas season we see so much generosity of spirit and it always warms my heart to see the involvement of our students and staff in creative and charitable endeaveours. Choirs caroling in Christmas concerts, pancake breakfasts with Santa, toy drives, food bank collections, fundraisers and bake sales – all building community and good will. Thank you for your dedication,  leadership and support of all our learners across the district.
