Enjoy this architect’s rendering virtual tour of the future elementary school in Coquitlam’s Smiling Creek neighborhood of Burke Mountain in Coquitlam, B.C.
This joint elementary school, field and park site is a partnership between School District No. 43 (Coquitlam), the City of Coquitlam, and the B.C. Provincial Government.
The 3,700-square-metre two-story school will provide 430 student spaces (80 kindergarten and 350 elementary), as well as a Neighbourhood Learning Centre. Students, families and community members of Burke Mountain will benefit from this new school due to its multi-use model – school, joint-use field and park.
The new school is scheduled to open in September 2018.
