SD43 students , Tim Lam (Gleneagle), Ki Ana Waco (Heritage Woods), Michelle Moon (Pinetree), and Minji Han (Riverside) created an app called CICER that would connetect to a car's driver assisted technology through Bluetooth to monitor the driver's heart rate and intervene if they were to have a heart attack, stroke or fall asleep.
The
app placed 3rd among 41 teams at YELL Canada’s Annual Venture Challenge,
the ultimate high school pitch competition.
