This November, École Glen Elementary celebrated diversity and made connections through sport.
Volleyball Jambouree
École Glen Elementary School hosted a hugely successful volleyball jambouree thanks to the generosity of Pinetree Secondary School and their PE department.
Nearly 300 grade 5 volleyball players from Glen, Walton, Westwood, Cedar Drive and James Park enjoyed a night of volleyball on Thursday, November 23rd.
Grade 11 Leadership students refereed the games and helped with set up and clean up. It was a wonderful way to come together to enjoy sport and make connections with each other.

Multicultural Day
On Friday November 17th the École Glen Elementary PAC hosted a tremendously successful Multicultural Dinner, welcoming over 270 people and ate food from over 40 countries of origin.
The entertainment included an Aboriginal Drumming Group, a Chinese Fan Dance and Bollywood Dancing and much more. All of the entertainment show cased the talents of our parent community.
It was a night to celebrate our diverse community and build connections through friendship, music and food.
