Innovative SD43 students walked away with a bevy of awards at the Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair held April 6 to 8 at the University of British Columbia.
A total of 16 middle and secondary students from four SD43 schools – Heritage Woods Secondary, Riverside Secondary, Inquiry Hub and Hillcrest Middle – showcased their respective projects at the annual event with 11 of those students earning awards and accolades for their work.
Inquiry Hub student Mike Roslikov was the most noteworthy winner from SD43 as he not only earned three awards for his project titled “Sleep Analysis” but also earned top honours and a trip to participate in the Canada-Wide Science Fair to take place in Regina, Saskatchewan in May.
