The goal of English as an Additional Language Education is to assist students to become proficient in English, to develop intellectually and as citizens, and to enable them to achieve the expected learning outcomes of the provincial curricula. Such support should be provided in a school environment, which values diversity, bridges cultures and works to eliminate racism.
