Rehabilitation Programs are school-based programs jointly funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development and the Ministry of Education. Students included in these programs meet the criteria for either intensive (H) or moderate R moderate behaviour support and have a current Individual Education
Plan in place. The teacher of the Rehabilitation Program provides service to students through behavioural management, counselling and adaptations of curriculum to meet individual student needs.
Youth workers offer support to the students and their families through liaison work with the home, school and community. Youth workers work under the direction of the Rehabilitation Teacher.
The schools determine the students requiring this service.
