School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) student
Ty Waters, who attended Aspenwood Elementary and will be attending Eagle Mountain Middle in the fall of 2016, is sharing his message of peace and unity through the release of his first song, “Only Human.”
The music video was released on YouTube on July 20.
The song will be part of an album of the same name for the 10-year-old musical prodigy, whose previous accomplishments include winning the Carnegie Hall’s American Protégé International Vocal Competition Jury’s Favorite Award, and Carnegie Hall’s International Music Talent Competition Judges’ Distinction Award both in 2015.
The album is due out in October.
Ty’s new song aims to inspire the world to come together beginning one step at a time by promoting peace among family and friends.
“I wanted to write a song about world peace,” says Ty on his official website. “But then I realized that we should have peace with our family and friends first and if we have that, we can have peace everywhere.”
