On behalf of School District No. 43 (Coquitlam), I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our students, families, and employees!
With Christmas and the coming of a new year we can look back upon the year passed and reflect with gratitude on the memories we hold dear. This last year, like the one before, held many challenges but our young people continue to rise above, achieve, and enjoy success in their classrooms and in their personal lives. Students are learning and connecting with each other within our schools and I am grateful they have remained open for the course of the year, providing a touchstone for our community.
Though the holiday break can be busy and hectic, it is also an opportunity to recharge, to renew, and to recapture the joy of the season and appreciate those around us that make our lives complete. Take time for self-care and consider giving some time to those less fortunate. I encourage you to embrace hope this coming year and wish for you to achieve all your aspirations. Be kind, be charitable, and most of all, be merry this festive season!
