Earlier this year SD43 Middle School Teacher librarians selected ten new fiction titles for students to read over the school year.  After reading each book, students from Banting Middle School, Moody Middle, Hillcrest Middle, Minnekhada Middle, Maple Creek Middle, Scott Creek Middle, Maillard Middle and Summit Middle Schools completed a short quiz to share their understanding of the story and gave the book an enjoyment rating. 

At the event wrap-up celebrations students who read 3 or more books were awarded prizes. Some students read all ten! 

Congratulations to all participants and thanks to all SD43 staff who worked to support literacy in our school communities.
