The ACE-IT Program (Accelerated Credit Enrolment in Industry Training) is a collection of, usually, four classes (full semester) in a concentrated trades-based area of studies in a high school and/or college institute. The technical training is a combination of theory-based lessons/exercises and practical work in the classroom. The goal of the technical training is properly prepare the students to pass the ITA Level 1 certification exam (usually done in late June or early summer). The Coquitlam School District offers 12 ACE-IT Programs:
