Fabric & Fibre

These courses are for students who are interested in "hands-on" creativity!
Just bring your enthusiasm and an open mind.
The focus is on using fabric and fibre to develop unusual artworks.
Have you ever thought about making your own paper, yarns and fabric?
About creative sewing and stitching techniques?
Or about using different fabrics in new ways (with dyes, quilting, and embellishments?)
You will get to experiment with the latest in mixed media techniques
and the most traditional of techniques.
You’ll have the elements and principles of art and design to guide you as your work on
projects such as fabric cards, knitted or woven art pieces, quilted wall-art,
jewelry, unique fabric books, and others.

Textile Arts & Crafts 9/10 gives Home Economics course credits.
Fabric & Fibre 11 and 12 gives Visual Arts credits.

This page is still under construction. We welcome you back at a later time to see a larger library of examples of student artwork.
