Director's Message

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to Gleneagle’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” Our cast and crew have worked tirelessly since September to prepare an energetic and entertaining romp through the 1920s. I am of thephilosophy that high school students are capable of creating truly excellent theatre, but what never ceases to amaze me is how powerful theatre is in building and creating a strong sense of self and place within a community as we strive to meet a common artistic goal.

I have greatly enjoyed working with these students on this story of good vs. evil, true friendship, and love against all odds. We hope that you enjoy watching it as much as we have enjoyed preparing it for you!

And so please - sit back, relax, and enjoy your journey through the streets of 1922 Manhattan.
