Since its inception in 2007 when the school moved to a common lunch hour, The Movie Club, has been meeting everyday in room 111. Any student is welcome to come, eat lunch, sit in any of the eight couches or regular desks, and watch films projected on a 12' x '12 projector screen with full 5.1 surround sound. At the end of lunch the film is stopped and resumed at the same point the next day. The continued generous support of our PAC has resulted in the several upgrades for the Movie Club since 2008.
Students may suggest a film for watching in Movie Club via email to Mr. Findley (sfindley@sd43.bc.ca) so long as it's available on DVD, rated no higher than PG-13, and appropropriate for a school environment. Throughout our history we have even watched series such as The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Mummy, and Harry Potter.
