The PNE Fair runs from August 22 – September 7. Training will be scheduled throughout the two weeks leading up to the Fair in August. Timing will vary based on your department and position.

  • Hours: The PNE Fair is open from 11AM – 11PM – with a variety of shifts available from 8AM – MIDNIGHT.
  • Availability Requirements: Must be available for up to full-time hours (40 hours per week) including evenings, weekends, and late nights from August 22 – September 7.
  • Base wages start at $18.54/hr with 5% additional pay in lieu of vacation & other benefits, resulting in a total of $19.47/hour.​

  • Food & Beverage – Must be 15 or 19 years of age or older by April 1st, 2026.
    • Bartenders (19+), Concessions Attendants, Catering Cook, Catering Prep Cook, Candy Attendants, Stockpersons (valid Class 5 or 7 driver’s license required), Dishwashers, Catering Servers, Playland Concessions Attendant, Playland Grill Cooks & Playland Bussers
  • Games  Must be 15 years of age or older by April 1st, 2026.
    • Games Attendants & Games Warehouse Attendants

  • Public Safety & Parking – Must be 15 years of age or older by April 1st, 2026.

  • Playland Maintenance – Must be 15 years of age or older by April 1st, 2026.

When will you work?

  • Dates:
    • Playland is open from May 16th – September 7thEmployees hired for the Playland season will also be required to work select dates in October for the Fright Nights operating season.
    • For FIFA Fan Festival™, shifts between June 11th – July 19th.
  • Hours:
    • Operational hours will be shared with those who are shortlisted.
    • Shifts will be scheduled according to operational times and may vary week over week.
    • Shift times will be dependent upon position requirements, and may include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings, late nights, or overnight shifts. 
  • Availability Requirements: at least 3-4 days per week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Training: Training for Playland positions will begin at the end of April and run through the month into May.
    • There are mandatory training dates for all Playland employees on April 24th, and May 2nd, 3rd, and 9th.
    • Additional mandatory training may be required for the FIFA Fan Festival™, this information will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

From July 6 to August 14, 2026, the highly anticipated Summer Fun! program returns, offering six vibrant weeks of visual and performing arts camps for children ages 5–12. As preparations ramp up, Place des Arts is calling on enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated volunteers ready to help create unforgettable summer experiences.
Job duties:
welcoming students each day;
  • assisting the teacher with classroom set up, clean up and disinfecting;
  • escorting students to and from the classroom;
  • reinforcing Place des Arts "FISH" behaviour policy: Follow instructions, Include everyone, Show respect and Help each other;
  • working one-on-one with students who need extra support;
  • supervising students in the classroom, and during break times and transitions.
Must be 14+.
Mandatory orientation on Thursday July 2nd from 4:30 - 6:30 at Place des Arts. 
Criminal Record Check required.
