Volunteers will help clean local parks and trails, supporting environmental stewardship while gaining valuable community experience. Earn 3 official volunteer hours recognized by the City of Coquitlam, perfect for graduation transition requirements.

Through open dialogue on key issues affecting their communities, committee members provide an essential youth lens that helps shape RCMP programs, resources, and strategies. Their insights also play a crucial role in developing educational materials that reflect the real needs and realities of young people today.
The National Youth Advisory Committee members meet on moderated, private online forums to discuss youth trends, RCMP programs and resources, as well as youth crime and victimization issues.
This commitment requires approximately two to four online hours per month, from October to June. Application deadline is September 8.

In addition to tending to the fish at various stages of their growth, it takes a dedicated group of volunteers to use their skills in accounting, administrative work, gardening, plumbing, electrical work, as well as general building maintenance to make the hatchery a success.
If you are interested in exploring this volunteer work, whether tending to coho or chum directly or assisting with other duties, reach out via email.
