Would you be surprised to learn that not all the hatchery work involves fish directly?  In addition to tending to the fish at various stages of their growth, it takes a dedicated group of volunteers to use their skills in accounting, administrative work, gardening, plumbing, electrical work, as well as general building maintenance to make the hatchery a success.

If you are interested in exploring this volunteer work, whether tending to coho or chum directly or assisting with other duties, reach out via email. Alternatively, you could drop in for a tour on Saturdays when we are open from 0930-1230. Come and see how you can fit in. Corner of Coast Meridian Road and Patricia, Port Coquitlam.
