Are you looking for a fun and meaningful way to build your resume, earn some extra money, and give back to your community?

Moresports is hiring youth coaches, and we’re looking for passionate, energetic Grade 11 and 12 students to join our team! Whether you’re into sports, love working with kids, or simply want to try something new, this opportunity is a great way to grow your skills and make an impact.

Here are just a few reasons to get excited:

  • You’ll receive FREE monthly Professional Development Training & Coaching Certification – including First Aid, Canucks Autism Network. These are amazing credentials to add to your resume or post-secondary applications.

  • Many of our coaches are placed back at the elementary schools they once attended. It’s a fun, full-circle experience and helps create a comfortable, familiar environment to get started.

Would you be surprised to learn that not all the hatchery work involves fish directly?  In addition to tending to the fish at various stages of their growth, it takes a dedicated group of volunteers to use their skills in accounting, administrative work, gardening, plumbing, electrical work, as well as general building maintenance to make the hatchery a success.

If you are interested in exploring this volunteer work, whether tending to coho or chum directly or assisting with other duties, reach out via email. Alternatively, you could drop in for a tour on Saturdays when we are open from 0930-1230. Come and see how you can fit in. Corner of Coast Meridian Road and Patricia, Port Coquitlam.
