Capital Projects
This website provides updates on School District No. 43's (Coquitlam) capital projects, including new school construction, seismic replacement projects, additions, and other small projects.
Updates will be posted to each project page linked in the menu to the left, and may include text, photos, videos, and applicable links to other websites.

Approved Projects
A project is considered approved when it receives Ministry of Education and Child Care funding.

| École Dr. Charles Best Secondary | Addition | The work is continuing in the interior with flooring, painting, and millwork. Grading and Civil work is ongoing around the perimeter of the addition (May 2026). | Spring 2026 |
| École Montgomery Middle | Seismic Replacement | The design plans for Montgomery Middle have been completed and building permit applications have been submitted (August 2026). | Fall 2028 |
| Hazel Trembath Elementary | New School | Approximately 70% of the design work has been completed. A community open house is scheduled for April 30th to share the general site plan and the design of the new school. The Environmental Development Permit was approved by City Council (May 2026). | Fall 2027 |
| Ioco School (Childcare) | The design is continuing, and the Development Application has been submitted (May 2026). | Fall 2027 | |
| Moody Elementary | New School | The school is substantially completed and officially opened on January 13, 2026, to students. The team is working on finalizing the all-weather field and playground. Minor deficiencies continue to be mitigated. (March 2026). | Opened January 13, 2026 |
