Updates (from newest to oldest)

The design phase for Hazel Trembath is now complete, and the project is in the final stages of the tender process.  Groundbreaking for the construction is anticipated in the coming weeks as the project moves into the next phase (August 2026).

The design process is progressing, with approximately 70% of the design work now complete.  A community open house was held on April 30, 2026, to share the proposed site plan and conceptual design renderings of the new school.  The Environment Design Permit has been approved by the Port Coquitlam Council (May 2026).

The design process for the new Hazel Trembath Elementary School is underway.  Engagement with the City of Port Coquitlam and project consultants continues as planning and design progress (December 2025).
