Heritage Woods Registration Information

Heritage Woods has an operating capacity of 1240 students.  When we have more students than this, it becomes difficult to schedule classes into appropriate classrooms in the building.  When this happens, the board of education may close a school to out of catchment students.  To check to see which catchment you live in, please consult the school locator website (this can also be found at

To register at Heritage Woods please consult the list of options below:

Catchment student currently in grade 8 at a SD43 Middle School

If you live in our catchment and attend a Coquitlam Middle School, you should be registered in our school automatically in the district articulation process that begins in January. 

New catchment student or one currently attending a non SD43 school.

If you wish to attend Heritage Woods and you have moved into our area, or you are coming from outside the SD43 public system you need to register at the school.  You will need to bring proof of citizenship for parent and child (i.e. birth certificates, PR Cards, Passports) and proof of residency in B.C. (e.g. [1] rental contract or property purchase agreement; AND [2] tax notice, telephone bill, or utility bill, etc.).  Parent(s) or legal guardian must live in the same permanent address as the student.
