After Grad Information
The annual HWSS After Grad party is held at the school (from 12 midnight to 5:30 am) and immediately follows the formal Graduation Dinner/Dance. This casual event allows the grads to continue their Graduation celebration in a safe, alcohol-free environment filled with games, food, amazing prizes and entertainment.
After Grad is organized by parent volunteers and is funded primarily through ticket sales. The ticket cost is $85.00 per graduate and $60.00 for guests. We would like all grads to attend the event. Financial assistance is available for Grads who may require help purchasing their ticket. (please contact the Vice Principal, Jody Moss, for further information)
To supplement those funds, additional opportunities include our “Parent Donation Letter” and a bottle return account, at the Return it Depot at 2554 Barnet Hwy, Coquitlam [Acct #67 Heritage Woods Dry Grad 2017]. Be sure to tell the clerk this information BEFORE your recyclables are counted.
The event requires significant planning and plenty of parent volunteer effort! Please consider volunteering your time and help make Graduation safe and memorable for the class of 2017. To make a cash or prize donation please email the committee at HWSSGRAD17@gmail.com. Cash Donations: Please make your cheque payable to Heritage Woods Secondary (noting “2017 After Grad”) and drop it off at the school.
Planning for the 2017 After Grad is well under way. Please check the HWSS calendar for upcoming meeting dates. The meetings are held in the school Library. ALL parents are welcome to attend.
