Wall of Excellence
The Wall of Excellence Has Been Postponed - Please Come Back in September
Welcome to the Rapids Wall of Excellence. Our purpose is to recognize past staff and students, individuals and/or groups, for their outstanding achievements and/or contributions to our school and community. These exceptional examples will be celebrated for their accomplishments and efforts and will serve to inspire future Riverside staff and students.
Nominee(s) encompass characteristics and values that represent the foundation of Riverside culture. This should include care and compassion for others and our community, innovative mindset, resiliency, strong work ethic, passion and professional behavior.
Nominee(s) demonstrate exemplary leadership, as well as outstanding achievement or excellence in their specific area. This includes, but is not limited to volunteerism, education, extra-curricular activities, clubs, school programs, art, research, politics, philanthropy, coaching, athletics and vocation.
Nominee(s) work or accomplishments have made a positive impact, that extends and reaches others.
Nominee(s) must be a past student or staff (extended community and support) member.
The nomination form is located on the Riverside website
The nomination form should be completed in its entirety and contain detailed supporting documentation and specific examples.
The nomination deadline will be TBD.
Any individual, group, or association may submit a nomination.
All nominators will receive an email confirming their application.
A review of all nominations will be completed, and successful nominees will be contacted prior to the Riverside Awards Ceremony to be held in TBD.
Nominations may be kept up to 5 years for additional consideration.
The selection committee will consist of a minimum 2 students, 2 staff, and an administrator – applicants will require consensus among the committee in order to be accepted.
The selection committee reserves the right to remove accepted individuals and/or groups from the Wall of Excellence, based on the discretion of the selection committee and school administration.
