Grade 9 Transitions to Riverside

Welcome to the Rapid Nation

Hello Rapid Nation,

At Riverside, we want all of our grade 9 students to have the necessary tools to be successful, and build real connections in our school and community. Numerous studies show that when students have a positive experience during their first year of high school, the success rate of students significantly increases throughout their high school experience. We have implemented new initiatives, and built upon previous structures, to provide comprehensive support and guidance for incoming grade 8 students, and current grade 9's throughout their transitional year at Riverside.

Below is a time frame of events and activities for the incoming grade 8's and current grade 9 students. COVID-19 protocols and guidelines are fluid and constantly changing, therefore, all of our events are tentative as we plan and coordinate. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our goal of supporting students does not change. We want to assure you that student, family, and staff safety is our priority as well look to adapt to the current situation. We look forward to seeing you at Riverside, and being a part of the Rapid Nation. Please continue to check this website, your emails, and social media for updates.
