The 2026 Hebden Bursary Award deadline is May 15th, 2026 (scroll down to Hebden Bursary to see details)​

The Jim Hebden Chemistry Bursary will be awarded to a student who has performed service for their school and/or community while maintaining the grades in science that are necessary for success in post-secondary education. This year, the bursary will remain $1000. The $1000 bursary, to be used for post-secondary studies, is presented annually by Western Campus Resources, the exclusive distributor of the best-selling Hebden Chemistry Workbooks 11 & 12.

Please note that the bursary is applicable only to B.C. students.​

In this year’s scholarship, we’d like you to be creative, just like our Jojo. For the 2026 Jonah Christensen Memorial Scholarship, we’re asking you to show us where you’d like to be in 10 years through a visual representation. This can be anything, a painting, a song, a sculpture, an interpretive dance, whatever represents you and your goals best.

To reward your creativity and authenticity, and support your academic journey, we’re pleased to be able to increase this year’s scholarship to $2000.​

​1. Italian Cultural Centre Scholarships:

The Italian Cultural Centre has established four Scholarships to be granted annually to four Grade 12 students residing in Metro Vancouver. One of the applicant’s parents must be of Italian heritage, and as well a member of the Italian Cultural Centre Society. The applicants will plan to attend a post-secondary institution where they must also be prepared to pursue Italian-language course work. 

2. Tony Marzitelli Memorial Scholarship Fund:

Tony Marzitelli served on the Board of Directors of the Italian Cultural Centre for 17 years until his unexpected passing in 2010. Tony Marzitelli was an avid sports fan, but also valued the importance of community involvement and post-secondary education.

The Education Awards Program helps residents in a household directly receiving subsidy from BC Housing, or receiving rental assistance through the Rental Assistance Program (RAP) at the start of courses pursue their educational goals as a way to achieve success and personal growth. The 2026-2027 BCIT Entrance Awards are for students who will begin a full-time BCIT program between May 1, 2026 and April 30, 2027.

Entrance Awards are open to full-time students who are either new to BCIT or starting a new program. These awards recognize both academic and non-academic achievements of students entering eligible full-time BCIT programs. All entrance awards are adjudicated through a competitive selection process.

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and begin a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university in Canada starting Fall 2027

The Theatre Society Legacy Fund – Arts Education Bursary is intended for a student enrolled at a CRA-recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or internationally in a formal arts program anywhere in the world. Arts is defined as a creative activity that expresses imaginative or technical skills. It produces a product or an object. The product/object of art is called a work of art for others to experience. The First Citizens Fund Student Bursary Program provides financial awards to Indigenous students enrolled in post-secondary education. Bursaries up to a maximum of $1,200 per funding cycle are awarded to students who meet all eligibility requirements and who demonstrate significant financial need.
