​The Reflections Scholarship supports students who have lived experience with an eating disorder by helping them pursue their academic and career goals through education. It is awarded in recognition of someone's strength and courage in facing their eating disorder as well as their enthusiasm and tenacity for their chosen academic path and the career they plan to follow.

The Chief Joe Mathias Aboriginal Scholarship is one of the longest running and largest Indigenous scholarships in BC. With the generous support of private donors and the Province of BC, we have provided over 500 scholarships to students from almost every First Nation in BC​

The BCCA Past Chair Legacy Fund, administered and managed by the BC Construction Association, will go towards funding eligible trades and professional construction career pathways for our industry’s future leaders.

Angad Hundal Memorial Award is an annual scholarship, given to support the higher education of a Canadian youth. The applicants will be judged by the qualities highest of a human, like self-discipline, empathy, compassion, patience, tolerance, fairness, helpfulness, open-mindedness, authenticity, consistency, perseverance and last but not the least, respect. We recognizes that these qualities are difficult to define or measure so extensive effort is made in assessing applications to select the winner. Criteria is critiqued and improved by making changes as needed.

​The scholarships are open to this year's graduating secondary school students planning to enroll in a post-secondary educational institution for the first time in 2025.  To be eligible for this scholarship candidates must 1) be of Italian origin i.e. as having at least one parent or grandparent of direct Italian descent, 2) be living in a city or municipality within the 21-member Greater Vancouver Regional District, 3) have an academic standing sufficient to qualify for entry into the post-secondary institution of their choice, and 4) submit a completed application form with supporting documentation post-marked no later than June 15, 2025.​​

The British Columbia Retired Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association (BCRPVPA) awards up to ten (10) bursaries/scholarships, in the amount of $1000 each, to students who graduate from the BC public school system and who are continuing their education at an accredited post-secondary institution. (Students planning a “gap year” should apply in the year in which they register in a post-secondary program.)

Applicants who are pursuing education in trades, technical and career fields, as well as those entering universities and colleges, are encouraged to apply. Applicants will be judged on their demonstrated

The Capilano Community Leadership Entrance Award recognizes BC high school students with documented leadership and volunteerism in the community and demonstrated strong academic standing. Valued at up to $3,500 towards tuition and tuition surcharges, twenty of these awards are offered each year to BC high school students with a maximum of one student per school, per year.​

1.​. All Capilano Community Leadership Entrance Award applications require a completed nomination statement from a BC High School Representative.
2. Representatives may complete as many nominations as desired; however, only one student per high school may receive an award.

SFU Bursaries: SFU offers a number of large-value entrance bursaries to assist students for whom the cost of attending university would be a significant impediment. Entrance bursaries are available to domestic high school applicants.

Scholarships and bursaries are put into place for either a specific post secondary institute, a particular area of study, for having accomplished or been involved in a sport or some other reason. David Lam/BC TEAL English Language Learner Scholarship was established by the TEAL Charitable Foundation to honour David C. Lam, the 25th Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia. During his lifetime, David C. Lam was respected for his commitment to excellence, English language study and public service. The scholarship is valued at up to $4,000. The David Lam/BC TEAL English Language Learner Scholarship is awarded annually to an English language student who wishes to study at a post-secondary institution, has excelled academically and has taken an active part in community and/or school service. ,

Please note that applicants for the David Lam/BC TEAL English Language Learner Scholarship must be documented permanent residents or citizens of Canada. International students on study visas are not eligible for this award​

National Scholarships are designed to recognize all-round excellence. They are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance to candidates who demonstrate ability for creative and innovative thought and a passion for the pursuit of learning. National Scholarships also recognize exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities such as the arts and athletics. A special emphasis is placed on a candidate's commitment to community service through ongoing contributions to school and community life.


 Each school is able to nominate up to 4 students for the National Scholarship Program (note: a school can nominate 1 additional student (in addition to the 4) if that student is an international (visa) student).  Schools are not nominating students for a specific scholarship.  The nomination is for the student to be considered for the scholarships available within the National Scholarship Program.

Note: students may apply for both the B.C. Excellence scholarship and the Pathway to Teacher Education scholarship but they can only be awarded one.
