​We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help the festival run smoothly. It is a great opportunity to gain festival experience, meet artists and community members, and contribute to a vibrant city-wide celebration of art in public spaces. Here are some of the roles available during the festival:

  • Audience coordination, ushering, guiding visitors between events
  • Distributing promotional materials
  • Signage placing and removing
  • Supporting artists during installation and take-down
  • Supporting daily operations, making sure events run smoothly and organized

Better Business Bureau is pleased to offer summer volunteer opportunities for high school students interested in gaining workplace experience in a professional office environment.

 

Students will spend one week at our downtown Vancouver office (#500-1190 Melville Street), where they will be introduced to day-to-day office operations and assist with a variety of administrative, customer service, and data-entry tasks.

Volunteers assist with escorting students, taking attendance, sign-in/sign-out, classroom support, and supervising lunch and snack breaks.

 

Shift Opportunities:

- Full Day: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (7 hours, including 30 min break)

- Mornings: 8:30 AM - 12:50 PM (4.25 hours)

- Afternoons: 11:45 AM - 4:00 PM (4.25 hours)

 

Requirements:

- Must be at least 14 years old (volunteers over 18 must complete a Criminal Record Check)

- Must be able to commit to a minimum of two weeks between July 6 and August 14

- Interest in working in a creative, hands-on arts environment

- Experience working with children is an asset​

Our activities at camp include swimming, boating, active games, sports, table games, arts and crafts, talent shows, and more based on the interests of participants. Our out-trips include places such as White Pine Beach, the Coquitlam River, Zone Bowling, Crash Crawly's (when heavy rain is forecast), and pools, parks, and playgrounds throughout the Tri-Cities.

The Coquitlam Reds are the premier youth baseball association representing the TriCities, Burnaby, New Westminster and East Vancouver. We play out of Mundy Park and Blue Mountain Park in Coquitlam.

 

We’re proud hosts of the 2026 18U AAA Western Canada Championship. From August 14-16, we’ll be welcoming top teams from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba for an exciting weekend of competitive baseball. ​
