Grade 3–5 Track & Field
Aspenwood's Track & Field program is open to students in Grades 3, 4, and 5. The season kicks off with our annual Track Attack in early April, where students have the opportunity to try a variety of track and field events and discover their strengths. Track Attack is weather-dependent and serves as an introduction to the season.
The competitive track season begins in mid-April and concludes in late May with the District Track & Field Meet at Town Centre Park.
Students may attend practices before school, during school, and after school. A practice schedule will be shared so students and families can plan accordingly. Students are encouraged to participate in as many events as possible to maximize their opportunities for success. Our school philosophy is to provide as many students as possible with the opportunity to participate and represent Aspenwood.
To qualify for the District Track & Field Meet, students must achieve the district qualifying standard in their event(s).

Students interested in joining the team should listen to the morning announcements for information about Track Attack, practice schedules, and meet dates. We look forward to another exciting season of personal bests, teamwork, and school spirit!
