Grade 5 Basketball Team

Our Grade 5 Basketball Team gives students the opportunity to develop their basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while representing Aspenwood Elementary.

The season begins shortly after Winter Break. Students interested in participating should listen carefully to the morning announcements for important information about sign-ups, practices, and game schedules.

Practices are held before school throughout the season. Games are played both at Aspenwood and at other schools, with games beginning after school and typically finishing around 4:00 PM. Parent drivers are an important part of our program and are needed to help transport students to and from away games.

The season often includes participation in a basketball jamboree, providing students with additional opportunities to compete, improve their skills, and represent our school. We look forward to a fun and exciting season of basketball, teamwork, and school spirit!
