Graduation Transitions

The British Columbia Ministry of Education requires all students that graduate from a B.C. High school to complete the Graduation Transition plan or GTP. Students earn four credits toward graduation for completing GTP, and this is a requirement for graduation. To learn more about this program, see the B.C. Ministry of Education information found HERE.

GTP DOCUMENTS

As soon as you complete the GT assignments, you will be able book your interview and become that much closer to graduation. If you need help understanding what is needed or where to find necessary information , feel free to see Mr. Cameron in the Blue Gym office on Wednesdays during tutorial.  All of the necessary documents are found below. A summery of what needs to be completed can be found HERE..

GTP INTERVIEW

All aspects of the GTP must be completed before the interview, All students are also welcome to complete the interview in the first semester. Each student must ask a teacher on staff to present to. This should be done as soon as you can because some teachers get booked up quite quickly. This year, we will be doing interviews on one day listed below.  Please mark this date on your calander, as it is extremely important for students to do everything possible to make the interview time.  This will be send out by email once students have selected a teacher (likely in November).

SELECTING A TEACHER

Each student needs to select and ask a teacher to do these interviews.  Once a teacher has accepted this request, please fill the form HERE to notify Mr. Cameron of this.  This need to be complete by October 19th.  Once this has been submitted, a schedule will be created and will be sent to the email adress provided on the form.

OFFICE HOURS

I am available for help every Wednesday at 8:30am during tutorial in the blue gym office, or feel free to email Mr. Cameron your concerns at cocameron@sd43.bc.ca.
