Technology & Digital Literacy

​​​Technology, along with 21st century skills, plays an important role in the lives of students today. Our school is committed to improve student achievement in the use of computer technology through its integration in all subject areas. Our teachers encourage their students to use technology tools available in our school and, particularly, to use them to present ideas, enhance creativity, organize thoughts and communicate effectively in a variety of way. Teaching students to be critical thinkers and to use digital technology in a safe and effective manner are goals we strive to achieve across all curricular areas.​

CISCO Networking Academy​​

For over 10 years, Pinetree Secondary has provided students access to the Cisco Networking Academy, Our IT Essentials program has had over 5,000 students graduate with a CISCO IT Certification that is valid in over 160 countries around the world. We are very pleased to continue this opportunity for our students and we proudly boast alumni now employed in global technology giants such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, and more!
