About our team and why we are fundraising:
Centennial School has a long and proud tradition in athletics, dating back to September of 1966 when the school was opened. Football has been offered as a sporting option for our students every year since this time, and is one of the oldest football programs in the province. Centennial has earned three football provincial championships: two at the varsity level (grade11 / 12) in 1966 and 2009, as well as one at the junior varsity level (grade 9 / 10) in 2009. We currently have 60 students from the school involved in our program and are the only high school football program available in the city of Coquitlam.
This year, our team has a goal of purchasing a new set of uniforms and we were recently quoted $16,000 to purchase enough for the team. We do not want to pass all of these costs onto students as this may make it unaffordable for many families to have their child play football. We want all children to have the opportunity to play. This is why we are asking for your help.
We are fortunate enough to have Team LÊo, Skyline Athletics and Rona partner with us to organize this event. Without their support, we would not be able to do this! You can order your product using the on-line form below, using your credit card. If you would like to order and pay in person, the Centennial School office (570 Poirier St in Coquitlam) will be open during regular office hours, and we would be happy to take your order. As a note, the office will be open Monday to Friday during Spring Break.
Please pre-order by March 24th to help us get an initial idea of the amount of product we need. However, the final order deadline is Thursday April 3rd. Thanks for your support!
