A welcoming place for all learnersThe Centennial School Library is an oasis in our busy school of 1,400 students. A south-facing glass wall and terraced interior make it a bright and engaging space. The library is open daily from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is staffed alternately throughout the day by two qualified teacher-librarians and a full-time library assistant. Students use the library to do research, homework, study or read. Teachers may reserve one of two classroom areas and use library resources (including laptop computers), collaborate with teacher-librarians, or engage in multi-class activities. A twenty-nine PC computer lab is also available to classes. The library collection includes more than 16,000 books, DVDs, eBooks, audiobooks and interactive volumes as well as databases from Ebsco and Gale, the World Book Online and more.
