Centennial Secondary’s Second Annual “Show and Shine
Geoff McElgunn retired last year after teaching Auto and mentoring countless students at Centennial for th past 35 years. The Show & Shine was created with the hope that it would become an annual event at the school, to support students pursuing careers in automotives. Participants are invited to bring their vehicles ready to Show and Shine!
All proceeds go to fund the Geoff McElgunn Automotive Scholarship Award. Last year's fun, family-friendly, inaugural Show & Shine was a tremendous success. This year’s event will be on Friday, June 1st, 6-9 p.m. in Centennial's student parking lot, off Winslow Street at 570 Poirier Street. Participant cost is $15; pre-register by emailing Jacquie Hutchins at jhutchins@telus.net .
