ββThe Suwa'lkh Indigenous Garden is part of a horticulture program designed to offer an outdoor learning space, food production, and cultural teachings to our students. In addition to horticulture, the garden acts as a therapeutic space for our students. The garden is designed as a traditional Aboriginal medicine wheel. The benches invite students and community members to sit and relax in the sacred space.
βWe also have a new 40β long greenhouse to compliment the raised gardens and allow the students to have year round access to growing their own produce, which is used in our school lunch program and foods classes.β
