Suwa’lkh is a small alternative program located at Millside Centre.  Students in grade 8 -10 who require an alternate pathway to help them on their journey towards graduation come from across the District.   The program focusses on the needs of the student to assist them to re-focus towards their success in education.  Students ultimately can transition back into the mainstream schools or continue in alternate programs - we work to keep all doors open for students. There is no correct pathway to education.

 

Staff work with students and their families to create a learning path that embraces the First People's Principles of Learning, and uses trauma informed practices throughout our work.
