HEADS UP:  upcoming or currently running workshops, groups, or educational series for youth, parents and/or their families

For parents/caregivers:

​​FamilySmart 

Every month, FamilySmart hosts online events for parents & caregivers who are parenting a child or youth with a mental health and/or substance use challenge called β€œin the know.”  We watch a video and share experiences and strategies that help in the hard moments and focus on strengthening our understanding and connection with our kids. Online events are facilitated by FamilySmart Parent Peer Support Workers.  See website for current workshops:

SD43 is sharing a reminder about our upcoming presentation: Sleep Health for Children and Youth in the Digital Age coming up on Wednesday, January 21st from 6:30-8:00pm. 

If you’re not able to attend on Wednesday, please register so the recording can be shared with you via email. 

We encourage you to share this free, all welcome event with your networks including community members, practicum students, caregivers and those who work with children or youth. The more the merrier!

The first webinar is for youth across Canada who support a friend or family member due to ill health, disability, mental health challenges, or substance use, and the second webinar is for the professionals who can help support them!
