The staff and students at Scott Creek Middle School welcome you to our web site. We enroll approximately 650 students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 and are proud of the many programs and services we offer to enhance our students’ experiences in Middle School. You may have noticed many pictures of our PADS Accredited Facility Dog Iris on our website. She works at Scott Creek to help support students and staff by lowering our stress levels and increasing our happiness! Iris is in many photos because we work hard to protect the privacy of our students and staff by not publishing their photos online.
Scott Creek Middle School operates as a partnership among the school, families and the community. The school consists of small, caring communities which recognize the need for both physical and emotional safety and well being, respect and responsibility and the uniqueness of each individual. We provide stimulating and challenging academic and exploration curricula, as well as a wide variety of social experiences which are age appropriate.
We will do our best to communicate through our weekly "Newsflash" delivered to your inboxes on Friday afternoons and updates to our website to help keep our community and families informed of our activities at Scott Creek. Our PAC meetings are a great place for parents to find out more information about upcoming events and volunteer to support our students! Please see the schedule of PAC meetings on our site.
If you have any suggestions or comments on how we can improve our website, please don't hesitate to email our admin team: lrinke@sd43.bc.ca or LKemp@sd43.bc.ca.
Kind regards,
Lisa Rinke, Principal and Leanne Kemp, Vice Principal
