Community Change Session # 2: Project Based Learning and Cross Curricular Themes

We would like to invite our parent community to come join us for a panel shared discussion on the topic of Project Based Learning (P.B.L.) and how we connect together the key elements of curricular competencies for learning. This is a topic of interest for parents as they learn to ask questions about how the curriculum for various course areas can be interconnected to focus on key competencies that students must build upon in order to show strength in the various skill areas of literacy, numeracy, critical thinking and social emotional learning. We will have some staff and students share their experiences and ideas about how PBL has worked for them as an engaging academic challenge. Please invite your neighbours and friends from our feeder elementary schools to join us for a night of inquiry.
