| | Information | | We welcome all families to attend our open house barbecue on Thursday, September 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We will be serving beef hot dogs, potato chips and juice. We hope you are able to attend as it is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher and visit their classroom.
Schedule:
Group A: Divisions 1, 2, 9, and 10 (Andrews, Sullivan, Mackay, Braidwood)
Group B: Divisions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (Martin, Moore, van Gaalen, Lachlan, Britton, Dressel, Graham) 5:00-5:30 Group A teachers will have their classrooms open for their students and families.
Group B is invited to the gym for the barbecue and to meet our other teachers. 5:30-5:45 Families with students in both group A and B can come to the gym for
the barbecue. 5:45-6:15 Group B teachers will have their classrooms open for their students and families.

| | Information | Tuesday, September 5 - Grades 1-5 students attend from 9:30 to 10:00 am We hope you all had a great summer ... the Cape Horn staff is excited to start the 2023/2024 school year!
| FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL: Tuesday, September 5 Students attend for 30 minutes attendance check-in and welcome activity. This is not a full day. 9:30-10:00 - Grades 1-5 students IMPORTANT: **Grade 1 students (last year's kindergarten students). Please go to your kindergarten class from last year. A staff member will gather students and bring them upstairs to rooms 301 and 303.
Grades 2-5 will go to their last year's classroom. Please line up in the same place as last year. **NEW grade 1-5 students, please wait outside the front entrance. Students will be greeted by staff who will show them around the school, introduce them to key staff members and take them to a class where they will attend for this week only. Wednesday, Sept 6 – Friday, Sept 8 (Full days of classes for Grades 1-5) 8:40-2:38 - Grades 2-5 will go to their last year's classroom for this week only. Please line up in the same place as last year. Grade 1's – drop off and pick up will be at the exit door outside rooms 301 and 303 on the upper floor. These classrooms are upstairs across from the library.
Kindergarten students will attend as per the gradual entry schedule sent by email in July and again in August.
