General Graduation Assessment information can be viewed at the BC Ministry of Education website: http://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/exams/
Information about all assessments, as well as practice materials and marking guides, can be found on the website above.
In order to graduate, all students will need to write three assessments. These include:
- Literacy 10 Assessment (January of Grade 10 year)
- Numeracy 10 Assessment (January of Grade 10 year for Semester 1 math students, April of Grade 10 year for Semester 2 math students)
- Literacy 12 Assessment (January of Grade 12 year)
If students miss a scheduled assessment, they will need to write during another assessment session. There are four yearly assessment sessions, and students will receive a letter from their counsellor if they are scheduled for a make-up.
If you have any questions or would like to check on your student's assessment status please contact Ms. Eaton (jeaton@sd43.bc.ca) or one of the school counsellors.
