Hello Grade 8 Parents! 

We are excited to meet you this coming Wednesday, January 11 at Riverside Secondary. We are starting with an Inquiry, Innovation and Design Orientation from 5:30 to 6:15 pm, located in the main foyer of the school. We encourage you to come around that time and tour our displays that focus on inquiry, innovation and design in many of our programs. You will also get to see our 3-D printers, and other technology tools in action.

Our formal event begins at 6:15 pm in our Cafeteria, and we will guide you to the right place to go. From 6:15pm to 7:30pm, you will hear important details about how to help your child register in classes properly. We use the MyEd portal, and there are a lot more decisions about courses that the students need to make than in Middle School, so this is great info to have. At 7:30pm, we will begin to discuss specifics about the French Immersion program, and parents of those students are asked to stay for that part of the evening.

For anyone not able to attend the session in the Cafeteria, we will record it and post it to our YouTube site.
