 Welcome to Riverside Physical Education

The Physical Education Department at Riverside Secondary is committed to offering a highly motivational program designed to meet the physical, emotional and social developmental needs of our students. Our focus is to offer activities that lend themselves to maximum participation, while at the same time fostering an appreciation for an active and healthy lifestyle. In a co-educational setting students participate in individual and team games, dance, first aid training, and outdoor opportunities.

Senior students will be able to experience a variety of activities which use both school and community facilities, and include activities such as ice skating, rock climbing, self-defence, ropes courses, and hiking our local mountains. Life-time sports, healthy living, and leisure activities are the primary focus of our senior programs.
